Well... I was just looking at the skating scores and really, the worst judge this time around was Australia.

France was very well behaved.

Some judges didn't like Piper and Paul that much (USA that is out now) and Lithuania (still there)

Let's see what happens but the scoring in the RD was much cleaner than at the Olympics.

Some beautiful free dances in this group - I'm cheering especially for James and Phebe, but Holly and Jason's programme is also stunning. Always enjoy Roman and Marie-Jade's programmes, too.

Adam is a tough skater for his fans. I am in denial and only thinking about Yuma. I also swallowed an entire jar of very fancy farmer's sheep yoghurt (cacao flavour) to compensate.

It was tough to see Deniss not at his best, too.

I would wager that G/P’s FD selection is more palatable to the panel than their RD. These judges are a conservative ilk.

and French judge was well-behaved in the RD. All their placements are pretty much how it ended up to be.

They Cyprus judge also has a French name so maybe there are indeed 2 French judges

Hello everyone!

This has not been my World Championships, time zone wise! LOL.

The first programs happened while I was asleep. The second while I am at work! (Damn gainful employment!)

I have been watching the replays, and enjoyed the skating. I just haven't been posting, as pretty much everything has been said at that point, but I've seen everyone's replies by following along the threads as I watch the replays.

I can be here for this one event!

I've not seen the men yet, but I have seen the results, so I'm not worried about spoilers, but I know how others feel about them, so be mindful! LOL

One comment I do want to make, in general. I've seen a few posts from those who are not liking the commentary of Mark Henretty and Tonia Kwiatkowski. Everyone is entitled to their opinions. I think they've been doing a great job! There have been periods of silence while the skaters are performing, and they tend to keep to the topic of skating, no yammering on about nonsense things like I've heard Johnny and Tara do.

One thing that stood out to me was when a skater's routine was "The Firebird". Tonia never once mentioned her experiences when she skated to it in '95 and '96. She kept her commentary to the skater on the ice. I've heard Johnny and Tara reference their own achievements during other skaters performing, which annoys me.

well the Lithuanian judge is retiring due to old age.... so yeah... I guess seeing Paul wearing smokey eyes didn't appeal to her.. but again, it was fine for her to see LoLo wearing Victoria Secret's

I would absolutely love that, but the judges have put such a distance between FB/C and G/P after the RD that Laurence and Guillaume would need an absolutely ghastly, mistake filled FD to lose.
