Johnny having a 5th?
and what now about Tanith-Evan, I didn't know they were ever an item...
Welcome to Sean's worldYou've got to allow for an extra dimension or two.
That was sooo funny. Awesome. :agree: I am going to laugh all night about that. And Toni, Would this be Johnny's fifth Nats title?
We'll soon see who the winner is and with every one hundredth of a point counting.Joe

Mathman said:I guess I am a minority of one, but I don't see any evidence that USFS likes Evan any better than Johnny, and certainly none whatever that they are bound and determined to make Evan national champion even if they have to cheat to do it. How could that be good for the reputation of figure skating?
Mathman said:What could be better for the sport than a true rivalry between athletes with contrasting styles and personalities both on and off the ice?

I'll take your word for it.Re: the Tanith and Evan thing someone brought up--I have it on very good authority there is not and has not been a 'thing'. They really are just good friends.
But doubt it without reason.:agree: :agree: :agree:I really don't think homophobia is an issue in people not liking Johnny.
I really don't see that as an issue at all. That's just Johnny being Johnny.
I really don't think homophobia is an issue in people not liking Johnny. (Frankly, if someone is a homophobe, this is the WRONG sport for them.) I think if the USFSA is in fact biased towards Evan, it's because for all they have been promoting Johnny as the national champion, Evan's the one who has brought it in international competition. Possibly the influence is "What are foriegn judges seeing in Evan and not seeing in Johnny?"
The U.S judges, and probably the USFSA are taking note by now that international judges like Lysacek more then they like Weir, and it is something to take into consideration for sure.
Who is "the USA" that Johnny Weir matters so much to?SeaniBu said:Of course his "loyalty" issue matters to the USA.
No, what is going on? Are they taking her name off the most gorgeous babes in sports lists or cancelling her sponsorships? Is Sports Illustrated planning to x her out of their swimsuit issue? Are you aware of what is going on with Sharapova?
Now I am really sure there was a "love time" for them. Short but it was as far as I have heard. ?????
And Toni, Would this be Johnny's fifth Nats title?
