Oh, my friends..I'm really touched, there are tears in my eyes. I must to say this story!!!We have a friends Sarynka, who is a great Italian Plushenko fan. She is a journalist, photoreporter from Rome. She took many great photos about Plushy so we know her very well. On Twitter she reported about Plushy's training camp from Pinzolo every year. He said in some interviews he wants to make a skating school in St. Petersbourg where he will work as a coach. But he wants other sponsors and he wants to do it some years later.

Russia has economic problems because of the sanctions, but Russia isn't a poor country. Maybe in St. Petersbourg's skating is in trouble but I think that will change. The St. Petersbourg skating association's ( I don't know what is the exact name) head became a Russian billionair in last year .

Plus I have a question. In Russia how many tennis court was built by Sharapova's money? Or ice rink by Ovechkin or Malkin? I don't know but I'm curious. They earned much much more money than Plushy.

It took me a moment to realise he's just oh so casually holding himself up by his arms...Gotta love a show off.

And the ceramic Plushy is adorable! I love the attention to detail with the nose and the skates!

Somewhat related but I was looking at an article about Russian ladies skating and they mentioned Ultra-C, so apparently it is a real thing, colour me surprised!

Yeah, looks like we finally figured out the mystery of Ultra-C. For anyone who doesn't follow the "State of Russian Ladies" thread, long story short, an article about the Russian ladies linked to another article about 'Ultra-C.' Apparently, it just means... Ultra-Complicated.

I guess Plushy won't be letting go of his quads anytime soon. On the plus side, now we know it isn't a promise to run off to Pyeongchang wearing Ultra-C-Through.
