LOL for a second there I read that as Plushy is 313 years old and was like "Now come on he's not that old!" :laugh: But I too love this program! And look Plushy was rocking the zebra look before it was cool ;) I'm glad Plushy argued the point with Mishin on this one.

Edit: Plushy won his first European Champion and GPF title with this program.

European Champs with commentary of british Eurosport guys https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nhwFm-VOO_0 he was second after the short program. The leader was Yagudin.

Yagudin's reaction https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=byMrwtOhPcc ;) what did he think? The judges put him on the first place despite to fact Plushy was clearly better? :roll5:

His scar seems painful. But nice smile relieves me so much. He appeared on the magazine Spur? The article seems interesting from this twitter to show his character although I cant see the context. If still this magazine is on sale, I’ll confirm it and share his words.

This blog seems to be cheer blog for Russian skaters centering on Plyshy and Pogorilaya.
He/she says adagio at Cup of Russia 2002 as the best of the season since there are many detailed movements although he fell at 4T.
She seems to deep insight and love for his skating and her analysis is interesting to read. To sum up, Plushy until Salt Lake was like a perfect and professional dancer. He achieved the best performances, but they felt like the first class entertainment for audience and somewhat differed from works of art as a tool of self-expression (Of course, she admires such professionalism and tremendously high skill of Plushy).
But, in this adagio, such Plushy seemed to sift his style totally and started focusing on self-expression of his emotions and soul deep at his heart and in that sense, this adagio is breakthrough program as an artist Plushy. She says many skaters do well with only one of the two factors and few skaters can achieve both factors at high-level like him.
Further, she says his linier movements in this program are phenomenal. He doesn’t feel any power, but still strong. She finds the balance superb.

You mean June? I'm not sure what you mean by "only" - that's the duration of that training camp, isn't it? If you mean other training camps, maybe any such plans for Plushy just haven't been fixed yet.

Plushenko visited Ivan Urgant Show (he is like a Russian version of Jimmy Kimmel) along with Viktor Ann (former Korean athlete who got 3 gold and 1 bronze for Russia). Apparently, they both are starting their preparation for Pyeongchang-2018. :)

Cool to see how Viktor Ann's Russian is getting good. He seems to not have a problem to understand any more, just his speaking is a bit slow, I can see how carefully he is choosing words, very positive and modest guy. Although my Russian is still a bit better. [emoji14]
