He is famous because of his parents. This is roughly true but I think he is talented. But Plush is not sure he will be figure skater. He believes Sasha is in that age when to be figure skater isn't embarrassing but this can change. Evgeni would have liked to Sasha be a soccer or hockey player but Sasha adores the skating now. We will see..

Not talented?! Booo! Apparently, I've also seen them say he's not flexible...seriously? I should upload a video of me trying to touch my toes so they can see what not flexible is (I can barely get past my knees seriously). I mean, yes, Sasha wouldn't be in shows if it wasn't for Plushy, but he definitely has talent, and like you said he loves skating which is something special in itself. I do hope he continues, I wanna follow his career!

The ball touchs the floor one time and the players touch the ball once-once, with leg or head. I don't know the english term but you were right in Hungarian theterm is leg-tennis "lábtenisz" or shortly lábtengó" They are maniac!

Leg Tennis is a good way to put it! I guess we'll never know who won the Plushy/Javi game, but in the World Cup Russia won! And it's a sad indication of how much of a fan girl I am that I was super happy on Plushy's behalf, I wonder if he'll be able to go see their next game now he's back in Russia.

Leg Tennis is a good way to put it! I guess we'll never know who won the Plushy/Javi game, but in the World Cup Russia won! And it's a sad indication of how much of a fan girl I am that I was super happy on Plushy's behalf, I wonder if he'll be able to go see their next game now he's back in Russia.

-Plushy was unbeatable and the other skaters's fans weren't happy because of his comeback. And they thought he wants to make comeback and wants to win! The other options isn't good for him...

-No one did it before him. If anybody retired that was retired. Plushy showed you can skate after 27.

- Dai was more popular here. Do you remember he was sent to Sochi instead of Kozuka but no one bashed him because of it. But you can't tell this about Plush! Double standard but we can experience many times in a Fs forum.
I remember the glorious days when I joined the fighters after Vancouver.. Plush had an army!He was definitely the most popular male skater before Hanyu.

That picture is so nice and interesting! I feel like Plushy wouldn't have been nearly so annoyed at getting silver in Vancouver if Dai had won or Stephané...or even Evan if he'd had a quad!

True. Of course it's not Plushy's fault figure skating didn't advance while he was away. He couldn't win if he came back now.

I didn't know that at the time! I didn't actually watch the individual men's event (only the highlights) because I was sad after Plushy had to withdraw.

In Dai's defence he got the third spot rather than the only spot, although once again it's not Plushy's fault Maxim Kovtun did so bad at Euros. Russia probably should have sent Sergei if they wanted to be fair I'm glad Plushy got to go though!
