I read that Trusova went for 5 quads in the FS practice in the evening, but she fell on 3 of them, among which there were two 4Lzs. Please, Plushy, please don't let her jump more than 3 quads in competitions. She is not competing against herself, but against your/her reason. If you insisted on taking this route, you would be running the greatest risk of losing this game, and even the Olympic spot next year!

Aww I care! But I know what you mean... On the one hand I feel like part of the reason Sasha T went to Plushy was because she felt like she'd be able to do the 5 quad programs that Team Crystal didn't want her to do. So Plushy may feel more inclined to let her...

On the other both Sasha and Plushy have been quoted as wanting to focus on components and being clean. I think maybe Sasha was just trying out a 5 quad run-through today to test the waters. Today's practice will hopefully show some changes.

In other news I'm kinda annoyed by the coaching situation...lots of skaters at Worlds seem to have more than just the one mandated by the ISU. I know that in most cases it's because they have multiple skaters, but it makes me feel sad for Plushy and Sasha. Dima M is a real calming influence and he's not there I wonder if they can Zoom call him

Right good points... program is still gorgeous, Sasha appeared to be smiling in the KnC (or is that wishful thinking?), Plushy and her's mask etiquette was second to none - take that nose mockers.

I thought she looked quite depressed before the skate. Was it because of the 3A being taken out? I don't know what really happened to her. Seems impossible to watch the FS live now.

There hasn't been a peep out of Team Plushy...or maybe there has been one been too scared to look.

I just can't even find out if Sasha's being training? I read somewhere that she hasn't turned up at any practice sessions since. I might be wrong though because I can only bare to peek at Insta and then run like Hell

I could not find any reports of the ladies' FS practices today searching various forums. The reason could be that this practice was scheduled at another rink, overlapped with the final groups for the men's short program, and ended just before the pairs' free skate. So it is possible that most people were at the main rink during that time, and hence no videos or reports (not just of Sasha, but of any of the top ladies that I searched). I will update if I find new information.

The Instagram post from the Academy says: "Courage, strength and faith in yourself! Fight to the end, Sasha! #you can do everything" [according to Google translate; my knowledge of Russian is not good at all].

I don't know which Russian message board you're referring to, but I can barely read basic Russian with Google translate. I could go double-check the rumor if you send me a link. There's another practice scheduled between 10 am - 1 pm Stockholm time tomorrow (so in 6.5 hours), but it overlaps with the dance competition, so we may not receive any practice updates before the ladies' free. But let's keep an optimistic perspective.

It would have been worse if Plush had not gone. With one coach per skater, they really didn't have a choice unfortunately.

I saw Rozanov also went, but to support Litvintsev. I guess Azerbaijan's fed wouldn't have allowed Rozanov to be switched out for Mikhailov...

This might be their planned technical content of the FS:
4F, 4S, 4Lz+Eu+3S, 4Lz+3T, 4T, 3Lz+3T and 2A.

I believe that they have been training this layout for quite some time before the Worlds, but things will become quite different if you stake all on it in real competitions. It will be a very hard choice for Plushy. As a coach he cannot make any final decisions for his student, or rather against his student's will. On the other hand, they both have no way back. Nobody knows what will be in store for them and for us after the FS. I can only hope for the best!

We'll have to wait and see how her practice goes this afternoon.

I'm being dramatic I know, but TBH I was really starting to worry! He looked like he was having an out of body experience the entire ladies comp and even after Sasha miraculously claimed bronze any FS gold there was still nothing I was starting to miss the pearl clutching that occurs whenever he says something. (I know WTF?!)

Hello fellow Plushy fans!

Well, the World Championships have officially ended and it was not a disaster, yay! Such relief!

Although not gonna lie I'm rather pressed that Plushy seemed to be like the one Team Russian coach I saw with like no back up whatsoever. Like everyone else had another coach (choreographer?) in the KnC and there were Plushy and Sasha looking like the unpopular kids in the cafeteria.

Anyway, Sasha slayed at the Gala so that's great news!

The 5 quads was Sasha's decision. Plushy let her to do it. Sasha is in incredible good shape! But she is like Kolyada..their nerves.....I believe she did the mistakes in short program because she wanted to jump quad, forgot how to jump triples sometimes! She overrated the 3 Lz!

Yes, it seems in hindsight Sasha should have gone for the 3A in the SP. I think maybe Plushy and the team were worried if she had a bad fall on it though she might not be able to do her planned content for FS. Which honestly was a legitimate concern I think.

I was busy and I have learned I'm much more calmer without Fs forums
I just want to say I need a braek sometimes, because I'm reading everything on many forums, I'm posting on many places thus I do nothing but spend time in forums. It's bad.
I'm going to be double grandmother for some months ( both of my daughters are pregnant ) So I won't be every day guest here..

But I like Plush, his pupils and ex pupils, many figure skaters, AP academy and I like every Plushenko fans of course...
