Two-time Olympic figure skating champion Yevgeny Plushenko received a minor injury and is not in the best shape. This he told Tass after a speech at the National Stadium of the Polish capital with her show "Kings on Ice".

This Plushenko appreciated the warm reception accorded to his show-program in Warsaw. "I am very pleased that there were many spectators," - he stressed. "Everything was fine," - said athlete.

Plushenko is the second time brought his show "Kings on Ice" in Warsaw. Polish fans of figure skating completely filled the National Stadium grandstand, meeting the applause of all the speakers. This year the program was devoted to the work of the Polish composer Frederic Chopin.

The next show Plushenko held on March 5 in Yerevan, and then he is going to take part in the festive show dedicated to the 75th anniversary of its permanent coach Alexei Mishin. Demonstrations will be held March 8 in SC "Jubilee" of St. Petersburg within the framework of the tournament "Cup Mishina". The show also will be attended by pupils Mishina, including and reigning world champion Elizaveta Tuktamysheva. Host of the show will be the World and European champion, two-time Olympic medalist Irina Slutskaya.

Well, congratulations, plushyfan, on your country's entry getting the Oscar! I'm very happy for you!

I wonder what's the matter with Plushy, and if we will find out? I wonder what "a little injured" means - I suspect that it doesn't mean a stubbed toe? Everything being relative and all, with Plush "a little" does give one cause for concern...
 
The Chopin program looks very nice, even with the popped jumps. I am not sure Carmina Burana would work without the jumps. But I hope we'll see more of Chopin & whatever the injury is, is not too serious...

In Warsaw was really cold. That isn't an Arena. That is the Polish National Stadium and they make four opened ice rinks under the roof in winter. There is no heating.

I have seen that short interview with Edvin about their friendship at 1h:25:30" in montage. But that was very bad quality .
