Honestly? I don't think Mishin would regard Japan Open or MWO as "returning to competition".
I think their plans to take the show to other countries are more credible now, after the Kazakhstan shows. Since they've now taken it to another country outside Russia, it means that they've found a way to overcome the logistical difficulties of such a big production. They've gained experience and proven it can be done.
And also... That show is just so, so... beautiful.
