"Plushenko says he does not know "in what capacity" he will go to the Olympic Games in 2018."
Anyone know what he actually said in the article?

Anyway, Yuzuru had an interview and once again spoke about Plushy so thought I'd leave that part here, he really respects him a lotDuring competition, to be under the most tension, to join it with peaking and to show fully your own abilities, I think it is necessary to become such a skater. In any case, that is what I want to aim for.
The reason why I admire/ look up to Plushenko is in there. I have watched him since I was little. When he jumps, even if he leans forward at times, he never falls, he does not make mistakes. I have almost never seen him fail in competition. HE is the undisputed champion. I want to be like Plushenko; no matter what competition, to show fully my own abilities without being shaken, I want to aim to become such a skater.
I want to see him become a great coach and continue to put on amazing shows. He doesn't need to compete at 5 Olympics to be a legend - he is one already.I can't see how he could possibly have time to train to compete any more. And we now have men doing 4 and 5 quads - just say no!I want to see him become a great coach and continue to put on amazing shows. He doesn't need to compete at 5 Olympics to be a legend - he is one already.
for me the links are working..![]()
)I will have to save my money carefully! I want to go train at Plushy's school!
That will be a great time!!! You can report about the training your feeling etc. :cool2: Plus Moscow is beautiful!oh, I'm jealous! But I'm happy for you! That will be a great time!!! You can report about the training your feeling etc. :cool2: Plus Moscow is beautiful!

- Skating..... Because in nothing he is more beautiful. In nothing.

- Plushenko said. - I believe we understand what he wanted to say...Totally agree. I think he wants to go as a coach as a menthor..
Oh, well - 'tis a mystery then. (I checked again... and still no dice. I especially wanted to look at the "handsome" one - but oh, well, I suppose I'll have to live without.)
And it appears that he is looking to develop his own approaches to training technique, and to "take skaters as the are" and see what can be done for them to maximize their potential rather than looking to be gifted with the cream of the system.
Given the experiments he did on technique with Mishin, I am excited by the prospect of Plushenko as an innovator in coaching.
Marina Zoueva has spoken positively about how, when she first came to coach in Canada, she had to take all skaters at all levels...It's not just that she had the good fortune to have the most promising talents directed to her. And that working with skaters of all kinds made her a better coach.
It's about adapting technique to the skater rather than choosing skaters for the technique. Artuyanen also has reportedly a variable jump technique coaching approach depending on skaters' bodies.
It it would be truly wonderful if Zhenya creates and environment with truly individualized rather than cookie cutter training and technique are the norm.
He also seems to genuinely love working with children - plushyfan, you've some great clips with him & children from his masterclasses, haven't you?![]()
adorable! and these
