So the other day I made a huge mistake and searched Plushy's name on Twitter, which I heartily recommend you avoid doing at all costs because the stuff that pops up is just awful... someone was like "Whenever I think my life is bad I take comfort in the fact I'm not Plushenko's son" like WTF? Because Sasha P has such an awful life, am I right? Another person called that video of Sasha on the fishing rod child abuse!

I'm not going to engage with them, because honestly what's the point, but seriously, who are these people and what are they getting out of accusing Plushy of the most heinous things? Can't they just stick to stupid complaints like the fish pond?

She is currently at the AOP "on a personal visit". Considering the timing and her Olympic prospects, I guess she is moving there to work with Plushy for an Olympic spot.

I was as confused at this as @CrazyKittenLady so I popped over to FSO (the Russian website) to see if there was more info.

Someone posted this link of Alexia with Sofia Sarnovskaya, I actually saw and liked it but didn't translate the caption and didn't recognise Alexia.

But yes last I heard she was training with Gheorghe Chiper (who I believe was at the Vancouver Olympics). Seems weird she'd suddenly change, so maybe it was is just a holiday

If it is true I hope it turns out OK and that the Russian Figure Skating Fed doesn't decide Plushy is being a "traitor" or something (although TBH since it seems they've named him a persona non grata anyway, nuts to them).

I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Well it's been a bit of a rollercoaster here in Sydney, the Delta strain of COVID has got into the city here and we've had to enter a lockdown. I'm still at work at the library (setting up a Library 2 U service for patrons), which is good, but we have to wear masks the whole time except for eating and drinking which isn't so good.

He does. Egor lives with his mother in St Petersburg. I actually follow him on Insta, he loves dirt bikes, regular bikes, scooters and doing wheelies Sometimes if he's not wearing a helmet I'm tempted to comment telling him to put one on, but...YOLO.

Plushy did visit him a lot when he still lived in St Petersburg, not so sure about now though.

Egor recently celebrated his 15th birthday on 15th June. (Born in the summer of 2006)
