Tosca... he hasn't performed it recently, has he? Well, except the vocal version at Opera on Ice. No objections from me--I hope he takes it easy on the jumps.

and about his costumes...In the Best of Plushenko program probably he will skate in that costume what Yudashkin -the most famous and best Russian designer -made him befor Sochi. He couldn't wear because of his withdrawal.. Yodashkin is a very good friend of Plushy and Yana. I like what he said about Plushy's personality.

Hmm, it could be the outfit he wore for the Team Event medal ceremony? Black again, lol... but I like it better than the LP outfit and wouldn't mind seeing him skate in it.

Runway outfits aren't bad, by runway standards. Some of them actually look wearable.

I much prefer that version of Tosca, actually. Especially the step sequence--looked more natural than the original. Plushy won't have an opera singer with him at Artistry on Ice though.

So much weirdness on the list. "ShaeLynn Bourne & husband"?! I mean, the guy has to have a name, right? "I Dreamed a Dream" from someone that's not Pang/Tong... "Batman & Robot"? And I thought Johnny was skating with Hongbo Zhao, not Hao Zhang?

Also - a brief news item about Plushy's upcoming Russian project - a family show with elements of Cirque du Soleil, sounds fantastic! Of course, arrogant Plushenko is in the lead role.

Famous figure skater Evgeni Plushenko said "Soviet sport" that is preparing a new project, the likes of which in Russia is still not there.

Note: On the Prince Charming part - I think a good scandalous headline should contain some element of the completely fictional, don't you? Not that it might not turn out to be true - I'm really curious as to what fairy tale they're going to do and how - I love fairy tales! Actually, I think this sounds like great fun for the whole family.

Thank you, Gallavich, LRK, for the links! I wish you both luck in getting your respective technology problems sorted out.

Best of Plushenko. Spiral, step sequences, and those moves out of Godfather. Almost made me wish he'd just go ahead and skate Godfather. Music cuts were more jarring than the Sochi version, but the essence of the program is there. And of course, there's St. Petersburg in the background. But no special outfit... It's all Plushyfan's fault for getting my hopes up!

I'm not the biggest fan of Tosca, but yes, white outfit! Hallelujah!

That snakeskin thing is probably the most (unintentionally) bad outfit he's worn since... I dunno, maybe since those green SP outfits from 1998? I will need to hunt down the group numbers to see whether it looked any better under the rink lights. (Also, need to hunt down Johnny's performance... is he now honourary guest in the thread along with Brian?).

Really curious about his fairy tale show. I love fairy tale re-imaginings and it'll be cool to see the ice used as a storytelling medium. I mean, if you've gathered all these people together, might as well as have them do something related instead of running off doing their own thing (AKA a million ballads).

Btw, in that first Youku video to "Best of Plushenko": *Plushy lands a triple* Girl in the audience: "OMG, he's ready to attend the next Olympics!"

It's rather apparent they didn't have a lot of time to rehearse together, but it was the first performance, so maybe they will be able to refine it a bit for the next shows.

This picture of Plushy with Johnny is simply adorable. And some really nice closeup shots of Plushy in this album and this one. I have some thoughts about the costumes, but I'm not sure they are appropriate for this board...:
