ISU proposal - Rule 108 - age limitations

I know it doesn't answer your question but I think any coach or federation with a pair of roughly 7 years age difference that includes a junior skater should ask themselves why this pair was created in the first place, why anybody thought this was a good idea and what other options these skaters have.

Can anyone perhaps please give an indication if the change to the ages for novice will also effect Cubs? Will the age for Cubs at inter-club competitions also go up by a year?

The change do not affect cubs at all IMO.

Inter-club competitions are not regulated by the ISU, so any changes to the age limits will be at the discretion of the clubs.
