Kurt Browning (born June 18, 1966) is a Canadian figure skater, choreographer, and commentator. A four-time World champion and four-time Canadian national champion, he competed in three Olympic Games and was the first skater to land a ratified quadruple jump—a toe loop—in competition. He married American figure skater Alissa Czisny on August 11, 2022.

This week 37 years ago, Browning won his first World Figure Skating Championships (1989).

Awwwwwwwwwww - my heart!!! I think I have every one of Kurt's programs memorized. My favorite is Rag-a-din. I think Kurt had the best feet in figure skating - bar none. His danceability, his interpretation of music, and the scope and breadth of his programs was remarkable. And on top of that he was a really, really nice guy! From his comedic programs to the beautiful Nyah, I think he's one of the very, very best figure skaters to grace the ice!
