New Romantic/Tosca
Black pants, white shirt with silvery parts

3A. very low on landing
3T, intended quad
he is slowwwww
3A-stumble out-2T
Combo spin with mostly upright positions
3Z-2T, he's saving all these landings with very soft knees
Circular step, slow but not too overdone
3Z out of nowhere
3F-2T, low landings again
3S, his skating continues to be very slowwwww
Flying camel into donut, slow
Change-foot-sit, losing speed
2A
SLSS steps don't really go to music
Final combo spin

Not a bad skate, but he is such a ponderous skater!

Not bad for Buttle. He's been worse. Too bad he, like Rochette, will be out of the final now. Rochette really went for it today, and came up pretty big, but apparently not big enough.

3A - big-time save on landing, but a huge jump
3T, probably intended quad
3Z, hand down
Camel spin with catchfoot on both legs, he has good stretch
Circular step well done, doesn't seem like it's forced on the slow music
2A-2T-2R
Combo spin with nice positions
Ina bauer into 3S-3T, lovely!
2A out of nowhere
Flying sit spin with variations
2A-halfloop-3S, hand down on 3S
SLSS to more dramatic music with flashier moves, not as nice as circular step
3T, hand down
Final combo spin

He looks disappointed, but it wasn't a complete trainwreck. He's a quality skater...just not consistent.

121.83 - 6th, 3rd overall with 189.76

Oh, and can anyone explain WHY Lutai did so badly?

Oh, and can anyone explain WHY Lutai did so badly?

You know there are all these funny little rules for scores today. He probably had a couple jumps downgraded, or with 1 being downgraded lost an element that was repeated too many times, or something of that nature.

It's a shame that Reynolds, who's FS was so much better than most of the people that just went jump wise and score wise, is still behind them all. I understand why, but it's still dissapointing.

Godfather sountrack
Rather subdued black costume with a little white

3Z, easy
3A, high and clean
3F, also lovely
3A-2T, BIG save on the 3A (sorta like Irina at Worlds 2005 in the short)
Flying sit spin
Serpentine step with not much interest
Combo spin, nice and fast with a layback in the middle
2A, easy
3R, likewise
He's not skating with much speed but he's getting the jumps done
3F-2T, nice
3S, slightly awkward landing but fine
Change-foot-sit with a cool position
SLSS, he's skating it with some more speed and not overdone
Combo spin, he's tired

WOW! A clean clean performance! TAT looks thrilled too
The flower girls are all gathering around him, he's got a lot of stuff

135.18 - 3rd, and 1st overall with 206.33. He's got at least the bronze!

He didn't do the third combo but the rest was fine. He did a three jump combo though. It was good though I think he still was a little more secure CoC, his jumps had more secure landings.

Love is War
I hate this costume...looks like a bad Sasha costume

Elegant, easy 3A-3T
3A, slightly scratchy landing but clean
3Z, clean but a bit tight
2A nicely done
3S easy
Combo spin at peak in music
Some nice choreo
3R, nice
Lovely upright spin
3F-2T-2R
Very nice circular steps
Flying sit spin, good speed throughout
SLSS nicely done to music
Great combo spin

Tsk, tsk, Johnny forgot to max out his jumps again. Great program and skate regardless, he has a great presence on the ice. The crowd loves him as much as Griazev, it seems.

149.81 - 1st, and 1st overall with 229.96
