World Championships is just around the corner so are there any fans of the guys?
I cheer for team Japan who have been trying in vain for 7 years to get that illusive Team Gold away from China.
Their team consists of:
Kohei Uchimura -King of Artistic Gymnastics for 6 years...all he wants now is the team gold...he sometimes messes up in the team event --how embarrassing!
Ryohei Kato - Prince of Artistic Gymnastics, World Silver medalist in the AA, just suffered a bad injury to his ankle --will he recover in time?
Tomomasa Hasegawa - Pommel Horse specialist with a D of 7.3 but also a pretty solid AA can get about 89-90 points.
Kenzo Shirai -Floor specialist, World Champion on the floor, and has the quad! heh, quadruple twist.
Yusuke Tanaka - another All-rounder from the famous Tanaka gymnastic family. -suffering from wrist injury at present
Kazuma Kaya - Young newcomer to the AA but agressive and high-scoring on most apparatus.
Team Japan's weakness is the Rings, but they still score decently there. Pommelhorse is always tricky, you never know who's going to fall off...
Any China Fans want to give a run-down of the team dynamics? Or from Germany? What about Oleg Venariev, he is undefeated this year in the AA with tremendously high scores...can he challenge Uchimura for the gold this year? I hope I'm not the only one who likes MAG. Join the conversation.
