Patrick Chan

From what I have heard, PChiddy will come back for next season and he will start training in June! :cheer2: We are here for you!

Saw this tweet today, saying that Patrick said at the SOI meet and greet that he is keeping his program that he skated at JO. I don't know if it means keeping for next season competitively or not, but could be. :)

Do we think he will be at Skate Canada next season if he is indeed coming back?

I've always assumed the JO program will be his 2015-16 LP. Was surprised that he had it choreographed so early just because of one competition (JO) but don't think he would have had it choreographed just for one competition. I also assume he will skate the full season, starting with Skate Canada and follow up with another GP event and the GPF. Of course there is a possibility of 2015 JO. :) I'm also certain he will raise the BV of this LP from the way it was skated.

I like it! I like how in Patrick's programs, every moment of the program has meaning and importance. He uses the nuances in the music so well to express himself through his body movement. He really feels the music instead of it just being background noise. Plus, he did a Russian Split in this program, which I hadn't seen him do before!

Beautiful. He skates like a solo ice dancer with jumps.

From all reports and watching him skate, Patrick can do any discipline of figure skating except Lady. Well, maybe with some flexibility training and proper packaging......................

Oh my, this is too cute! But then, PChiddy probably can do well in ice dance if we can have a very short lady. His SS and basic edge work is the best in the game. It is mostly about big jumps these days and very few skaters, male or female, have the sort of secure deep edges and speed and blade control that characterises a superb skater. PChiddy's the best among the guys. After Caro Kostner, Asada and Yuna are gone, I can't think of many ladies who have really excellent SS.
