You really get a sense of the hush of the crowd on that fancam. They were mesmerized, almost in a trance. The other guys with their quads were exciting, but Patrick was mesmerizing enough to put the audience in a trance.

I thought this thread would be a little quieter after Worlds, but no, it's still going strong! After last weekend, I thought I'd check the thread maybe once this week, but I've still been here daily. I'm working on a blog post about how I admire Patrick for choosing to face his fears of competing again. I'll post it here when it's done.

count on me to make this thread active until at least WTT... I am "off" from touring for a while. Dead season for us... and i need a break but i will take it when we are well into the 600 pages (coming soon) ... and when WTT is done

about your comments.. you are correct... Patrick gets that woosh for the 4t-3t because he covers so much distance with that jump.. but right after that, people set into his skater and join him in a pure communion of music and movement... or a trance.... this music allows that very much... and that's why, as much as I love the program, I am hoping for a more extroverted i.e. triumph-like music for the LP for Olympics.. but i would bet Patrick's esqualo shirt on the fact that he will keep the journey another season

Now Canadian boys have landed all the quads in practice or competition... we have seen Patrick (and many others ) do 4t and 4S... and the junior boys bring on the 4 Loop and 4Lutz (Conrad and Nic)... Keegan also landed a gorgeous 4lz-3t... and now Nam!!!! We are strong and proud

Congratulations on the 400! And yes, I just looked at the calendar and Patrick will be going to WTT, and then straight into Stars on Ice, which has its first show a week after WTT. Busy man!

vivley, does your site get a lot of traffic ? i visit regularly but I am curious... it's really a great place for everything patrick so you must be getting some visitors from all over the place!!!!

Aw, thanks! Surprisingly, traffic was a little lower last week during Worlds, but it was steady. And yes, I do get visitors from all over the world, including tropical countries, too. I'll have to think of ways to promote the site more.
