vivley, If ever Patrick don't show up, I will feel so guilty... i have been pressuring everyone here on this fan fest, especially you, to go see him live.... :slink:

but.. hey... if ever he is not there, trust me, Canadian Nationals is amazing... the dance and pairs alone are well worth it, good year bad year... and this is going to be a great year.... and our ladies are terrific...

Also, my family plans on trekking with me to BC, so it will be a major trip for us. 😉
 
Patrick has stated that his wish is to be a ten time Canadian champion. I'm quite sure he'll be in Vancouver for the Nats. :agree:

Have a great time Vivley! I'd love to go (and right now the airfare is CHEAP :eeking: ) but I don't think it's doable. :(

I have some thoughts about the current situation with Patrick ... I don't know if it belongs in a fanfest. But it goes beyond Patrick. I have followed figure skating for a VERY long time. Since Sochi, my interest has waned. I no longer trust the integrity of the sport and I don't like the direction it is taking. That said, I will always be grateful to Patrick for his Chopin and Journey programs. I only hope that I'll see Dust in the Wind and Hallelujah skated to its full brilliance. :pray:
 
I also saw cheap flights and i would not need accommodation but a week in bc means a week without income for me and i already get over 2 weeks off a xmas. Not sure i can afford almost a month without money

Yes, I am grateful that he came back and gave us all those beautiful programs, too. Now I just want to see him finish strong.






BTW all, since I have the all-event pass, I would be willing to give / trade / sell some of the other event tickets to other fans who want them, since I am really going to Nats only for Patrick. Let me know if there's a place on the forum for this as well.

vivley, i know it's a lof of skating... but it's just a couple days... and they go back to back... I hope you watch it all because it is spectacular and we have very strong skaters right now... a chance to see V/M on their last year, or D/R flying so high.... or see WHY Kaetlyn is scoring high... it's not about any sort of inflation lol.. she's just extraordinary... you would enjoy every minute of it;

i hope you rethink it... i missed all the juniors and so on... but seniors is usually just a couple days.. days on which you would be at the rink to see chiddy anyways...

I'm going to agree again with Mr. 4everchan, Viv! Definitely see all of the senior events if you have tickets for them, it is well worth it!
