This isn't the first post advocating this - more like the fifty-eleventh. What's most disturbing is that I don't think sky_fly20 is a troll, but actually sincerely believes this is a good idea!
Anyone who believes one meal a day is a good idea for an athlete needs a reality check. :disapp:
Body fat has this amazing quality that it rolls and jiggles - the young ladies mentioned in this thread are a long way away from "jiggling". Significantly loosing weight would just cut into their muscle mass and negatively impact their jumping ability.
Plus, (just IMHO a photographer) ladies like Rachael, Eliza or Caro-Z (post growth spurt) might look a bit curvatious on the screen because they have very tiny feet. It would really help their body proportions if they gave up on tights-over-boots or flesh colored boots, as they make feel look smaller.
Thanks for THE ICE links! Lovely performances. Too bad most of the programs were cut short or skipped.

I looked forward to seeing Satoko Miyahara's and Adelina's new SPs. I hope they will be included in the full broadcast.
I love Mao's SP - her movements and expression really improved since 2006. Love the new layback and the speed toward the end of the StSq. It's a shame some parts of the SP were cut out (steps into 3L and part of the step sequence) - the resulting musical mish-mash sounds quite weird to my ears.

I look to forward to seeing the whole program skated on a normal rink (as Mao said that she nearly gave up on the idea of debuting the SP in a show, as the rink was quite small and she had some trouble with adjusting the choreo).
I wish the performance from Osaka could be broadcasted, as the fans who attended the show said she skated her SP more freely there, and with more solid jumps (and a new dress

). Sadly, it seems like thre was no cameras present during the morning show (only during the evening one, and Mao skated only her Smile EX then).
As usual, Mao & Jeff's pair number was fab. They would make a great ice dance team
