random confession of the day is that I am 27 today 
apologies in advance, but there will be some more random personal rambling confessions below
I have to confess that last year was pretty tough due to my health problems. It was really hard to realize that I need a rest, I need help and I can't be/feel well,as I was always sure I'm good. But I can say that I'm grateful for all that experience and lessons learned.
I have to confess that I finally felt the power of positive thinking - as it was sometimes the only helpful medicine, along with understanding. And that comes from VERY non-positive person who always worry.
I learned to trust more my guts and opinions and care less about all around me.
I confess that I focused more on now and what's next realistically, not getting too far ahead, instead of living in the past.
I realized that getting a size smaller or two is less important that getting a health and energy to get up, go to work and live every day.
I tried to smile more and worry less.
And I'm still excited over figure skating (despite all its controversies) and happy that there's a place like GS Forum.
I'm sharing with You all virtually a chocolate praline from box of them I've got today

, I do wish I'd be able to share with You sweet gifts I got as I can't fully enjoy them.
I got a day off work yesterday, went for a long walk (as there was quite warm and sunny outside) and met some friends. Also went through some favourite FS videos to celebrate with FS also

I am going totally wedding-crazy. Not engaged (yet), but hope to be this year. Boyfriend is totally down, maybe even more than I am (because he knows I'm just the best and wants to lock me down for good), just waiting until he can afford a ring and give me a proper surprise of a proposal. But I just can't wait to plan wedding stuff, pick out potential venues, dresses, etc.
I've never been the type to think about my "dream wedding" or care too much about marriage and whatnot, so I feel like a big idiot lol.

The planning part is always fun....it's the constant writing of checks that is SO ANNOYING. My husband and I paid for about 75 percent of our wedding and I felt that during every pay day, I was writing a check for hundreds of dollars for about six months.

Just noticed that I have many Polinas as skaters which I like... Polina Tsurskaya (Russia), Polina Edmunds (USA), Polina Ustinkova (SUI), Polina Ustinova (Cyprus)... oh and one Polina from the Rhythmic Gymnastic - Polina Shmatko... This is whole army of Polinas :hpull:

Although I never posted it, I once attempted to make out an "Alphabet of Polinas".
You see, with the way we refer to the Polinas by the initial of their surname (all thanks to Polina Korobeynikova having such a long surname!), I was curious to see if we could make up a complete alphabet of skaters named Polina.
Even without getting it completed (when I reached 50 Polinas, and was still no-where near the end of the list, I decided to give up), I had multiple skaters for nearly every letter!
