I think John and Rena have really improved in terms of "polish" in recent years. To me, they have a maturity and just simply skate like a senior couple (tho I know they can be slow compared to others).

Glad they did well. Sorry about NNN/L. Can't wait to see what I can see on NBC!

Brooke and Ben's program was my favorite, even with the mistakes... their costumes are so pretty... really loved the look and feel of the program

Amanda and Mark did a great job too, not only skated decently, they performed and had fun...

I&B probably got lots of +GOE on each of their element... They really have improved a lot which is a pleasant surprise. Their elements and choreography are really refreshing and polished and they used to be very mediocre.

Have they changed coach?

They aren't with Oppegard and the guy in K&C is reported to be their new choreographer, Philip Mills.

On the icenetwork news page, an interview with Oppegard says "John wanted to coach them". Since John Sr & John Jr are both John's I don't know whether this means the dad is coaching them or whether they are self coached. However, I have not liked Oppegard's choreography for them, except for their Olympic year SP.

i think that Inoue and Baldwin were smart not to try the 3 axel in the Short. They simply had to be clean and they were. more or less. Also smart doing 2 axels instead if 3 toes so John can land it easier. I am pleased to hear they are skating to Trans Siberain Orchestra music agian, i liked thier last program to that music much better than that boring stuff they did the last two seasons.
