I think we should do a "real" prediction thread and after the worlds we crown the person who predicted best - I'll design a winner-banner! 10 points for predicting the world champion right, 15 points for correct prediction of silver-medal winner (harder to predict, especially in women and pairs), 15 points for bronze-medal winner, 20 point bonus if you predicted the entire podium correctly, for every correctly predicted placement from 4 to 10 another 15 points, if you predicted the top ten correctly (not the placements, just who is in it, like in Joe's thread) a 20 point bonus. Then we crown four winners for each discipline and the overall winner. Okay, I do have a life and am just rambling.

Yes, to compare and crown the person with the best prediction is always fun, especially after the World, the season is over, and there is not much to do with figure skating. But currently, we have several similar threads with predictions everywhere.

I think we already have 2 predictions threads.

But this thread has some strong feelings about my possibilities. Wow. I didn't predict a winner. I can't. Anyone who does, imo, is actually predicting a hope he wins. Can anyone actually pick the podium. I can imagine 40 posts for Johnny Weir to be on the podium. Well, it's possible.

I predict this is a wait and see. The Ladies is easier.

no problem and not pointed at anyone in particular but as a long time poster, I realize that favorites get in the way of a more analytical approach for predictions.

As for the podium prediction, somewhat difficult this season;

As for top 10, impossible.

I wanted to say (but I haven't said it) that Takahashi and Asada will take home the gold. But now Asada will go to the Worlds alone without her coach. I think that Japan takes home 2 golds is in question.
