Snow ski (I can't swim!)beach cottage
WYR water ski or snow ski?
A rink, always. (I don't know how they manage to find smooth outdoor ice on glaciers to film skating specials!)Go back in history
WYR skate on a rink or on a frozen pond?
Kiss'n'Cry!A rink, always. (I don't know how they manage to find smooth outdoor ice on glaciers to film skating specials!)
Would you rather sit near the judges at a skating competition or next to the Kiss'n'Cry?
I'd work very late because that's my normal sleep pattern anyway -- bed between 1 and 2 a.m., sleep until 9 a.m., every night. An extra hour or two late at night would be no problem. Being roused before 9? I'm like an arthritic zombie .Kiss'n'Cry!
If you were in need of some extra time to finish some urgent work, WYR work late into the night and then sleep as much as you want, or go to sleep at your regular time to get up extremely early to get these few extra hours to work?
Oh early, though as where I live gets very very foggy in winter, at that time of year I don't get any choiceShop in person (for clothes in particular)
WYR fly out early or late in the day?
Haven't had any reason to be on a plane for many many many years, but I hear they're pretty grim nowadays. Even in the past I'd have chosen train, though for sentimental reasons -- we got married in Vancouver and were both set to start grad school in Toronto the next week, so we took the train across Canada as our honeymoon. Does tend to make one rather fond of trains !Oh early, though as where I live gets very very foggy in winter, at that time of year I don't get any choice
For preference, plane or train?
Gold - suits my colouring betterI used to wear glasses (for decades!) before my cataract op, and never asked about contacts as I knew I would lose them in three days flat...
Jewellery - gold or silver?
Haven't had any reason to fly anywhere since my kids were small, and automatically gave them the window seats while I sat on the aisle to block them from getting out and annoying other passengers, and to provide bathroom escort. I guess I'd still do the same from habit if I had to fly somewhere. (I'll take your word for it that the Mississippi River is beautiful. I've only travelled across Canada and between Canada and the UK. Only been a short distance south of the border to the US a couple of times, by car.)Watch some in flight movies! And thus be awake to see a phenomenon out the window like the big beautiful Mississippi River!
WYR have an aisle seat in an airplane or a window seat!
(Gee ... I wore contacts for twenty-some years and never lost one!)
Own (and I do, it's elderly but it goes just fine)Photos (but I still like to bring home a few small souvenirs that fit easily in a suitcase).
WYR own or lease a car?
With my full menu of allergies I don't really have a choice -- I eat at home, or occasionally at the homes of people who are happy to leave all the ingredients they used out on a counter for me to check the labels. (My MIL also had food allergies, and ended up in Emergency once when she asked a waiter about an ingredient, he got the manager who assured her they didn't use whatever it was, and brought out the chef who swore the same. Except that the chef had under-ordered and resorted to cheating and had used her allergen, lying to save his job. So "asking the restaurant staff" doesn't work.)Own (and I do, it's elderly but it goes just fine)
WYR go out for dinner or order takeaway and eat at home?
