2015 Four Continents Men's Short Program Feb 12 Seoul Time

so far, the scores that are kinda bugging me are from Mura's (thought his PCS was too high) and Rippon's (PCS being too low)

a bit surprising that this event has been judged in a fair sense...which is pretty odd

well anyway, goodnight and good day to all! I'm getting some rest

Yuzuru Hanyu 101,45 Sochi 2014
Patrick Chan 98,52 Bompard 2013
Tatsuki Machida 98,21 WC 2014

He is the 4th best score!

Yuzuru had a 99 at 2013 GFP. and think Patrick's missing 1 more top score too.

Alright, y'all. It is 6:30am here and I'm off to sweet, sweet oblivion. I'll me you back here, same time, for ladies :drama:

Awesome skate by Denis! I'm sorry for doubting you:bow:

/Is very extremely behind

He doesn't look excited by it at all lol; Where's the guy who was pumping his fists in the middle of a program in 2013 W? Maybe he's worried about tomorrow because of what happened in the GP.

My Denis Ten video had over 200 views before it was even reported as officially published on YouTube... :slink:

Korea is still very much neutral territory in the skating world, so its not the place to be fooling around in. It was a fair contest...as fair as it can be.

These are just the top PBs right? I know Hanyu and Chan both have at least one more score each above Ten's.

But that's absolutely taking nothing away from Ten's performance. In fact, the men as a whole can be proud of themselves today, that was a good competition.

Now the question is, who can repeat that success in the free :hopelessness: I hope this doesn't turn into a men's TEB 2014 event again...

Fell sleep, what happened to Nam?

Sounds like a much better event than euros
popped 4S, fell on 3A
Brian had this to say:To do your first quad in the short it's different from the long ((different tension)). It's not for lack of work that's for sure.

WOW I just woke up and saw the results. Thrilled for Denis his skating is really first rate when he is on and this is the time
of the season where he seems to peak. Surprised and sorry about Jason and Adam's placement. My coffee is just about
ready and time to read through this thread for all the highlights. Waiting anxiously for videos. Shout out to Shoma and Han!

Im going to quote Nicky Slater about what he had to say about the Four Continents
"It definitely puts the European Championships to shame"

The whole event was pretty fabulous (esp for a men's event) Low points were Adam, Nam, & (kinda?) Jason

Yay! I'm going to watch all of these guys!

(Sad for Jason, though.... :slink:)

You should watch Jason too. It's not that bad of a performance. :) He stood up on the quad, though it was <</two-footed and he does a lovely 3F-3T i the second half. :) Plus the usual good spins and steps.

(Honestly, I think us fans probably feel more bad for him than he feels bad for himself. I could have sworn him and Kori had a moment of transedence in the K&C. Has he been reading Walden or soemthing? :laugh)
