2015 Four Continents Men's Short Program Feb 12 Seoul Time

Not harsh, IMO. Anyway he needs to get mileage on his quad in competitions and attempting is the only way to get that. He should have tried to jump it already at the GP.

I don't agree -- it was probably in worse shape back then, then now. I think it's good he tried it here to assess what it looks like in competition. But I won't be surprised if he opts out of it at Worlds. He has six weeks or so, I don't see it progressing to the point where he could take the risk again.

Im going to quote Nicky Slater about what he had to say about the Four Continents
"It definitely puts the European Championships to shame"

Awww, dang. Wish I had seen a Eurosport feed. I love his commentary.

Is anyone else unable to access the event results page / judges protocols? I have made multiple attempts with different browsers using different links and can't get it to load.

And if you look at Josh's result, it's even more likely he won't go for it at worlds.

The first time is always the hardest though. If he goes back to it somewhere next season, he'll still have the worst part behind him :)

Thank you, all!

I'm very curious to see results because I was very surprised by some of the really high scores for people whose jumps looked weird to me. Since I was half asleep and cross-eyed while watching I wanted to re watch dom of the clips and compare to judges marks, but I guess it will have to wait.

That's kind of what I'm thinking. :) And I think from a physical standpoint, it's good he didn't bang himself up doing it either.

I've reached my Walden moment.

Nice comparison!

And LOL, Even Jason's relatively bad 9th place skate would have put him in 5th at Euros, that is hilarious.
