I realize. I would just think that people who were 4 and 5 in Europe would place better at worlds. Doesn't make sense to me that you can do well at Europeans and then not a worlds.

I would say the opposite. If skater place 4th at the Europeans, there are just Russian ahead. But at worlds, there are great skaters from Japan, USA(well, not this time), there is Zijun Li, many others...

But at Worlds, you have to deal with North American and Asian skaters, and right now those are stronger than most European countries. Plus, if you just have one skater, they need to get top 10 placement to get a second spot. Too many good Asians and Americans. Plus last year, carolina
