Alaine, Polina and Ashley had gross 1lo-3S combinations. They need to watch a few Sasha Cohen videos. Sasha had nice flow and is one of the only ones I have liked in competition.

Gonna defend my girl and say Ashley's was not so bad. Polina somehow manages to get more distance on the telegraphing of her combo than the jumps, which is my main issue. Alaine's is not pretty, but not many of her jumps are.

Most likely the Americans Gold and Wagner are sitting in 7 and 8 after this group. Meaning if someone falters, we should be looking at three spots.

Ashley's actually doesn't bother me (which is amazing, considering jumps aren't always her forte), but Polina's and Alaine's look really labored and awkward to me.

Really good fight from Alaine there. I felt like she could have fallen on so many of those jumps, but she kept upright through sheer willpower.

I think Alaine will still beat So Youn though.

Wait, so if So Youn is 12th does Korea still get 2 spots next year? I thought it was if she was 10th.

Pogo PCS HIGHER THAN PARK?!?!?!?! Are you kidding me?! With all those two foot glides and looks she gave after falling (twice) flat on her stomach or popping her triple?! Seriously?

Someone, please tell me if PCS will ever be fair.

Oh wait, nevermind. Probably never. :bang:
