I just hope she wont be doing a Bodyuard EX with the lying on the ice & everythingRest Well! Maybe she should skip the Gala?
Has anyone noticed that this WC podium is somehow similar with last WC's?
1) Gold medalist with 3A, won both segments
2) Little Silver medalist, 3rd at SP (I don't mean their ages, it's about how tall they are. And actually Julia is not that small but still she has an image of 'a little one' for me)
3) Bronze medalist, 2nd at SP, 6th at LP.
Well, meaningless, I was just a bit bored![]()
Are we going to see something similar in Men?Anyone know what is the rule regarding inadvertent turns/steps between jumps intended to be a combo? Does the tech panel have discretion on whether to call it one combo or two distinct elements that take up two jump slots? Current example would be Liza's combos in her LP at Worlds. Curiously they were still called combinations despite the turns.
Did she stay on one foot and on the same edge? You have to stay on one edge....I thought that was the rule. Otherwise it becomes a sequence.
By far the worst world championship ever. Aren't we all gonna say goodbye to pogorilaya? She is NOT coming back after this.

Oh, I had no idea. She did great there. Well, considering all this not bad at all.
Third place at Worlds and a great season.![]()
I have a problem with Rad also. Both women look immature. The japenese girl's program lacks sophistication. The choreography is comparatively simplistic. These things should matter more. It's the only way to distinguish juniorish skating from women champions. And, it's not only the age. They kept Kwan off the podium until she was more complete, even though she could out-jump anybody. This was correct.
One thing I notice in Rad's skating is that her legs are rarely togeather in step sequences, transitions. Takes away from the line. She may not be clumsy but it looks that way. Just not in the same league as Kim, Kostner, Gold, etc.
