On the one hand I'm really sorry because without the fall she could have been third, but let's not be to greedy, it is a first step in the right direction. It is nice to see her PCS grow and I hope that this competition can be a boost of confidence for her.
Good job So Youn, I'm proud of you!!
And most of all, she beat GRACIE!!!! I would have hated to see Gracie ahead of her with that sp and that free skate!!

MIRAI! So proud of her! Fabulous competition and great foundation for next year. I hope this gets her 2 grand prixs. Satoko is very cute and deserves the gold.

Thoughts overall:

1. Mirai!!!

2. Gracie was gifted 5th. Osmond should definitely be above her so I think the highest you could argue she should actually be is 6th, but I personally think a strong argument could be made that she should be as low as 9th. It was great to see her and Mirai chatting it up in K&C though

3. Overall this was an extremely underwhelming event. The only three people in the top 12 who actually skated as well as it was possible for them to skate (leaving scores and any 'wrong calls' people think the tech panel made aside, since either way they did skate as well as they were actually capable of skating) are Satoko and Mirai and maybe Choi. Everyone else choked to vastly varying degrees.

I agree with the top 2 placements, the rest could be juggled around quite a bit, I think.

Lovely skate by satoko. She is a beautiful skater. Great skate for mirai.

And, Satoko's english accent is pretty good. You can tell she spent a couple of years in the States as a young cild because her ear is good. Iknow it is her favourite subject, but not everyone does that well with the accent.

when did so youn changed her lp from Red voilin to last years program?

I personally think Red Violin is too sophisticated for most judges to appreciate to be honest... come on.. they much prefer something like Titanic and diCarpio drowning, or Phantoms, Les mis etc... alternatively, try Carmen, Firebirds, Swanlakes.
