2016 Four Continents Ladies Free Skate

Miyahara's choreography is so bland. And, she skates the same no matter what the music is doing - same speed, always legato, her jump technique works only in a narow band. I guess as long as Gold, Wagner, Osmond, etc. are not skating potential she's a important player.

I'm in tears for Satoko - this was even better than GPF, not only in scoring, but in terms of performance and interpretation. The way she emotes, the way her movement is so with the music is amazing. Tiny Queen showed again that her hard work and progress are bigger than any critic directed towards her.

WOOOOOOOOOOT:cheer:

Thought so. World medal is happening for her.

Yes. she can have a world medal again but idk if she will if gracie will go clean both programs (i hope so) and having Rado and Medv. IDK yet there are many possibilities but i hope gracie will skate clean in worlds and having it held in home soil

Satoko is now getting the appreciation from the judges that she deserves. She's so consistent and yes her jumps are tiny but everything else is flawless.

I don't feel Max Aaron deserves his inflated PCS either, but whaddaya gonna do when you disagree with the judges?

Your "jest" would work better if there were any truth to it.

Let's just say that despite all her jump inadequacies, Satoko has some of the best non jump elements and she at least interprets her steps well. Her basic SS is considerably more controlled and has good edge work. I won't say that the jumps detract from her performance. Ding her on jump GOEs. But there is no need to put her down and fail to recognize her surety on non jump elements and that she's been consistently underscored in PCS just because she takes a more introspective form of skating.

I think Park's program was a lovely one to end with :) I really like watching her skate!

So let's just ignore Mirai's competitions before her last 2 competitions, why don't we? Such a fantastic season! :agree:

Nope-- let's place her scores in a trend line!

According to Excel, it moves upward for Mirai... which is better than heading a downward spiral, no? ;)
