Patrick Chan

I, for one, am confused. Is he going to finally change his LP costume to wear the same in both programs? :scratch2:

;) Your are a great observer . I didn't notice that until you pointed it out .
Wait a minute... Pchiddy is wearing his SP costume there! So will we see him skating to "A Journey" in his SP costume???

Actually, that's fine by me, but it may leave other fans confused...

I wonder if he is aware he is creating such anxiousness and expectations with his delayed costume

 Oh, the anticipation! :drama:

Silly me, I manage to come up with the weirdest explanations for things. E.g., my theory is that he is wearing the Chopin LP costume in honor of someone.

But 4everchan is probably right on, and we'll see his new LP costume soon enough.

Had I been able to talk to Patrick after the SC LP, the costume would have been my FIRST question for him, after congratulating him and saying how much I love A Journey, of course! :laugh2: Has anyone tweeted him about it? He's busy training, but we never know what he'll read. ;) Hopefully he'll surprise us, though. I tell you what, I've never felt this much anticipation for one of Patrick's costumes, probably since he's never worn last season's costume for 2 competitions in a row the following season.

The person I thought of first for that theory is Kathy Johnson and Patrick honoring her due to their recent split, but as I type it out, it seems increasingly strange that Patrick would do it because of that. I do hope 4everchan is right.

Patrick's new sponsor just handed him four tops and two pairs of pants when they signed him and he would be wearing them for the 3 years up to the Olympics. :slink:

what? that's silly. if that sponsor knows anything about figure skating, they would design something for him that goes with the programs. Wouldn't that be a problem for him with judging if he doesn't seem to have suitable costumes?

I mean, Patrick looks really good in his Chopin costume. I thought that costume worked with the music... ( i will spare you a paragraph of why as I am sure it's somewhere on this forum LOL) but the journey needs something else IMHO... no black... it's so dark and the piece is so ethereal, floating... perhaps some people on this forum called it (wrongly) a funeral piece because the outfit isn't appropriate.

I see a bit of a flowy shirt for this one, lighter colours... etc... UGH...

What? Eeeeer. It's really silly.
Where can we read about it? There's someona article or something else?
And what of sponsor is it?
I mean, Patrick have more than one sponsor, right? Why can other not help him with costume? O__o Or I understand nothing O_O

Very strange for Uniqlo to do that... The funny thing is that a Japanese fan pointed out that his Chopin LP costume top looks like a HeatTECH shirt:

That's what I had suspected, which explains why in Taipei at 4CC he did not put on a jacket in the kiss & cry.

But four tops and two pairs of pants for three years? :scratch2: Wouldn't he need more changes of clothes than that?

Whoa whoa people. Is the joke so bad :palmf: or do I have such unquestionable credibility that an absurd statement from me caused serious concerns and is even spurring action? It's not enough I :slink: away but have to come back to face embarrassing aftermath and apologize. :hopelessness: And I thought my silliness might be worth a  or a :laugh2: or maybe a :rolleye: or two.

:sad21:

ok .. here it is:laugh2:

the thing is that yes.. we are used to
1) your expert knowledge in everything related to Patrick
2) a better sense of humour than that from you

So... yeah... you killed us here a little...

Thankfully, I haven't had time to make my petition on change.org :drama:
