Yes ice coverage, Uniqlo is sponsoring Patrick who has indeed worn some of their casual clothes in style. I assume they would provide his costumes as Uniqlo's other sponsored athletes wear Uniqlo brand in their sports. The biggest bang for their sponsorships is when the athletes wear their brand during the highest profile competitions. Granted, Uniqlo makes tons of tennis wear and I can't find them doing skating attires but surely they've managed attires for all sports when they sponsor Japan's Olympic teams multiple times.
eta to answer your latest post, no, there is no evidence of Patrick wearing custom designed costumes from Uniqlo. However, Patrick is not Japanese and seen often in Japan in his casual clothes so it seems the most exposure Uniqlo will get from this sponsorship contract is through his competition costumes.
Last season which was the first season under contract with Uniqlo, his costumes seemed possibly off the rack, actually rather un-costume like. Still, many like the simple look and didn't mind a glimpse of his belly now and then, especially 4everchan
However, no matter how wonderful the Chopin costume might be, Patrick needs a new costume for a new program. Whoever is responsible better have it ready for COC.
Unless it is clearly conveyed to the public that Uniqlo is not responsible for Patrick's costumes, they will not gain the desired goodwill through the sponsorship.

market for Blackbird skating costumes branded with Patrick's name. YMMV.
instead of emotionally draining ones, more hilarity than worries, and more banters than heated arguments. Let's keep
with Patrick!
