2017 Four Continents Men SP

Well they should rightfully increase Boyang especially how much they shower Nathan now. Overall everyone was rightfully scored except for Yan and Kerry. Yan should be clearing 40's easily and Kerry is a skater that should not be getting 36 for a performance like that.

I really hop Hanyu wins this 4CC!!!! One of the only few missing from his Resume. And then next season, perhaps we can start worrying about Skate Canada and another Olympic Gold.

When the protocol comes out, we will know.

I watched on HD broadcast in Japan, and actually all his jumps looked borderline or UR and his 3A looked like a downgrade on replay. The program as a whole looked nice, no falls, good energy, but the replay was really harsh.

Here the protocals:

Nam got URs on both his quads. (and his 3A too). Ouch.

On the whole, the scoring and placements seemed okay to me. The shocker was Nam, but on the replay I understood the scoredrop. Han could have gotten more PCS I think.

well the tech panel thought the Canadian men were starving... carrots for everyone, especially Nam.... wow...

I never thought the day would come when I would feel sorry for Patrick Chan. A few years ago his scores made me so angry, but now I think the scores do not reflect how good he is in comparison. The new era of Men's figure skating really has begun.

So and now I hope that Shoma 'Piantao' Uno will win 4CC. Only to see how everyone goes Loco, ha!

Each time I want to feel sorry for PChan I just think of the day he and the Canadian Fed accomplished the greatest heist in skating history and I dismiss that thought.

Let me try something here

Take Yuzu's score: 97.04
Minus the 2S+3T: 97.04 - 6.30 = 90.74
Add back the 4S+3T from GPF: 90.74 + 17.37 = 108.11 (WR 110.95)

Would beat Nathan Chen but no World Record.
