Very possible, he's suffering with injuries too. There's an instagram post in his fanfest, it's not pretty and overall left me quite a bit melancholic. It's a good read.

Yes, in social media Misha has implied this may be his last year; he has hurt his ankle many times trying to up his tech, from what he says.

That might explain why he's looked so subdued

Which is why the other guys have to ignore it and do their own thing... hard as it might be.

They all skate before him. We'll see if it has any impact on their skates, or if their skates have any impact on Nathan's decision on his own layout. We'll know pretty early. If he changes the 4T combo to a 2 jump combo vs a 3, we'll know he's going for it.

His choreographic work has been in demand. I believe he will have a great career as a choreographer so we can continue to enjoy his artistic talents.

I agree, and if you've seen his Instagram he has some great clips of him dancing 'on dry land." But I'll still miss him on the ice. He brings something special to competitions.

Nam still has the 2nd highest score in the FP... considering his whopping 72 in PCS... that just tells you something..... I liked Jason and Misha... but if the sport is going to reward jumping, then reward those who jump quads...

no double standards please... I just find it odd that some skaters get away with less skills because they quad, while others don't... and some skaters get away without big jumping while others don't... it seems like PCS is just random... and broken... okay i am done...

in the meantime... looks like Nam is slaying himself into top 9.
