I actually liked B/S's program as much and maybe more than the top teams in terms of choreography.

How can anyone combine them for a dance program?

I watched their FD once and I know a part of my soul died with that terrible music... and I am tough, considering I have to listen to Josh Groban and stuff like Nella fantasy and POTO as a figure skating fan...

B/S 's music IS A FELONY : they should be arrested for fraud, forgery and uttering.

Besides, if you had Andrew Poje to stare at and sit the lap of and cuddle would you really be interested in Morozov? Poje was kissing her neck after the FD today. How could Morozov compete with that?

Something like that could then show up as a minor deduction in Ch, Ex, and SS more likely...right? It's impossible to detect because that only exists in the judge's minds before then getting factored.

i think pcs were lowered by some judges indeed... and a few judges lowered goe on the steps too...

In the talk about changing coaches, could/would/should Weaver and Poje go back to Krylova? Things weren't that bad with her, were they? Maybe they can still carry some of whatever growth they got from this year back into that older successful environment?

They did peak at this championship and performed that FD very nicely (I never really enjoyed it before today)... maybe not all hope is lost with Morozov but they will have to get better programs!

It's too bad they couldn't snag the bronze here today though.. to me they looked a clear third (and I think I enjoyed them the most)

Something Bereznaya said about their Olympic program. They wanted to do Chaplin for Olympics and ended up doing a romantic number on the advice of their coaches even though they were no longer a couple. She was annoyed and described it as a love carrot for the judges.

Well their coaches were right! I think it was pretty clear at the time the judges weren't too crazy about the Chaplin program (Worlds 2001 was a disgrace!) and preferred them in the classical mode. I think Tamara once said that was the message backstage she was privately told by others.

Time has been very kind of that program though but Meditation (a great program on its own) was the right move at that moment. It allowed them more complex/difficult choreography which is what Tamara wanted to overcome the bias towards the Canadians.

But it's extremely unlikely as
1. There's no proof whatsoever that Weaver / Poje are couple off the ice.
2. Kaetlyn is too old for Morozov (he's into teens / early 20s girls)
3. Nikolai has a wife (she's still a teenager), 3rd one but ... ok.
