Wow, Patrick has a strong right arm... listen to the cheers!

Still working on the new blog post - hope to publish it soon!

This is like some American Ninja Warrior stuff right there! Good job Meagan and Patrick. Seeing them do stuff like this makes me feel all the more un-athletic.

Updated my fan site and here is the latest roundup of news, including a bit more about my icewine story. Patrick's doing a lot this weekend! Lookk at that "I'm a badass" face in the photo taken after the wall climbing...

Patrick Chan News Update, June 2, 2017

Enjoy!

Here is another angle posted on Twitter! Even better, don't you think? :jaw: The tweet says, "Chiddy's got scaling skills." :agree:

It was a different attempt. He went for the center (middle height) that time, whereas he went for the left (highest) in the other version. He definitely struggled more than Megan did on the pull/mantle to the top. My husband watched it and commented on how lighter people do better on that type of move.

lighter people with huge butt muscles ;)

did you see his calves.... hard as rock....

but you are correct, patrick and meagan are short and trim and super fit... perfect bodies for this and other sports. Patrick understood that very young as his first passion is downhill skiing... when you compare him and Eric Guay, our Canadian super star in downhill you can look at a very big difference in body types..

Patrick Chan
1.73 M (about 5'7")
67 KG (about 147 pounds)

Erik Guay
1.78 M (close to 5'10)
84 KG (about 185 pounds)

or

Svindal the real superstar in ski
1.89 M (6'2)
97 KG (215 pounds)

So yup... you need to be build heavy to go down the hills but light to fly quads like a black bird ;)

I thought it was interesting to share this because Patrick chose the right sport for himself based on his body type.... even if his first love (I heard that in interviews) was skiing.

I wondered if it was, but I didn't look too closely. Thanks for the confirmation.
