I don't think there's a rule. McNamara/Carpenter skated 5 years as juniors internationally and 7 years domestically!

straight line lift i suppose good but i don't like when they do eleventy billion positions cos it all looks so rushed

Nah, it was just me getting my wires crossed.

I knew that at least one series for young athletes that I watch has that rule, so as to keep the flow of new competitors going. But I wasn't sure if it was the Junior GP Series or the Red Bull Rookies, or both.

It's hard to keep up with all the rules of everything.

They only teamed up last season, and their results are pretty good so far! And their scores have been improving on each outing. They even won the Junior Dance at the Toruń Cup in Janaury.
