I don't remember this but at Skate Canada 2015 (Lethbridge) a group of fans dressed up as Waldo.

Skate Canada 2015 was so special... i was so happy to see him again.... and he skated a flawless LP.... 1 quad.... 1 3A....
to think he is planning now 3 quads and 2 3As in his LP just shows how motivated Patrick has been to increase his content.
I hope and believe we will see some clean skates from Patrick this year : I have the impression that he is more at ease with the 3 quad program now...

Isn't that when they had it last year? I wonder why they didn't do that again this year.
Yes, and I wondered the same thing. I heard that there wasn't much engagement between the skaters and donors this year, and there could be more sponsors, especially for an Olympic year.
It's a shame because last year Patrick went around and talked to different fans and skaters, making them feel welcome with his "pleasantly upbeat" demeanor. Read more about it on my blog here.

Yes, that was so special, especially since he was under so much stress and in tears before the performance. It was the first competition he did since I became a fan, too. :agree:

Since we're reminiscing about 2015 SC right now, here's the LP with the full K&C and the medal ceremony. Patrick's pure happiness after the LP and at the medal ceremony truly warm my heart, even looking back at these videos two years later. Patrick's reaction after this competition was unique for him, and it shows how truly special it felt to him. He was very happy after 2016 4CC also, but that reaction was more about excitement. This reaction was more about relief and genuine gratitude that he skated so well and that he had the opportunity to skate at SC again.

^^ and the anthem....the one he didn't get to hear in Sochi... it must have been bittersweet at first but he is beaming so the emotion clearly moves towards pure joy.

i hope he is going to give us some colour this year Patrick would look good in any colour... perhaps not pale pink though but he could do fuschia LOL... i just hope for something fun

maroon is such a chiddy colour... to think of it
another colour that wouldn't work... AQUA....
So no pale pink and aqua... the rest works for me.... especially if it's mesh

Here's hoping Patrick will use the experience from SC'15 this season to give us more flawless and magical performances!
Btw, the slo-mo they showed while waiting for the scores was just breath-taking. It showed his grace, power and how truly fast he skates.

I like it better when the replays are presented like this, instead of having the program music playing over them, which is what the ISU feed has done lately. We would have missed out on this gem of a conversation if Chopin had been playing during the replays. I wonder when that change was made and why, because we never get to hear K&C conversations anymore.- Joined

I doubt he'll have two new ones. Maybe one but I think it's too early in the season for him to give his attention to costumes. So my answer is NO.
I wouldn't be surprised if for "Dust in the Wind" he repeats the ombre look of "Journey" using a different palette. Maybe throw in some sparkles for this one.
As for "Hallelujah" I'm going out on a limb. Do you remember Gordeeva/Grinkov's "Moonlight Sonata"?

If Marina can make Patrick win the games, she can dress him any way she wants.... but it's true that the white stripe makes it cross like... though the piece was written by a Jewish man.
