Update on Patrick's training and the coaches he's been working with in Vancouver and elsewhere. Among them is Ravi Walia, Kaetlyn Osmond's coach. I'm so glad he has rejuvenated his energy and drive heading into Nationals.

He was shooting the Air Canada promo for the Olympics with Tessa and Scott earlier today. See the second video in this Instagram post. https://instagram.com/p/Bc25dbxlVKk/
Marina seems like such an easy-going coach. Good luck to him no matter who goes with him to Pyeongchang!"It's been a weird year, we've all had our ups and downs, our own challenges, we deal with them our own way," Chan said. "It makes for an exciting Olympics. Anything can happen, which is awesome.

I am thrilled that Patrick is happy and rejuvenated and sounds ready to go for Nationals. :yay: However, I don't know what to make of there being no direct mention of the 4S. I am VERY curious about the 4S. Patrick does mention "moving his jumps around," but I'm not sure if that means the 4S is still out or back in. I HOPE the 4S is back at some point, but we'll see.
:agree: Beautifully worded, as always. This report focuses on Patrick's state of mind and mental rejuvenation, not much about the technical content of his program except that Ravi has helped him reordered some of his jumps. For Patrick, the choreography of the jumps, so that he gets his breathing and rhythm just right, is everything as far as the technical success is concerned. Such rearrangement may help him reintroduce the 4S with confidence and good rate of success though we don't know. The way this weird and unfortunate season is going, my only wish is that Patrick stay healthy and happy on his way to the Olympics and be relaxed and confident when he skates there. Good things will happen then.

Patrick featured in a short video from @olympicchannel https://twitter.com/olympicchannel/status/943466138066923520
Also, he'd be in SOI Japan 2018 with V/M, D/R, Kaetlyn, Javi, and Nathan http://figureskate-soi.com/skaters.html
Note-worthy from other threads:
The article about Patrick has attracted very positive views and feedback. :agree: Very refreshing change from earlier in his career when everything about him was spun very negatively. Many have admitted lately that they have been converted into Patrick fans.![]()

In the meantime, enjoy this video of Patrick and the Canadian team singing Jingle Bell Rock badly.

Out of everyone, I thought Andres and Kaitlyn had the best voices.![]()
