2018 US Championships Sr. Ladies SP

I wonder how Ashley will rise to the occasion. If she is clean, I think they will put her on top. Her PCS are significantly better than everyone else.

That score seems pretty fair... I'm surprised about pcs but I think that Bradie performed from start to end, but at the beginning you could tell (rightfully so) that Mirai was a little nervous. The free is going to be so exciting though!

Bradie has more transitions and choreography than Mirai, though her expression/performance/interpretation are wayyyy better than they were earlier this season.

Getting the -3T not called UR was a major gift.

I am so happy for Mirai. If she landed the 3axel clean, she would have gotten around 76-78.

Nice job from Francesca! What a shame about the combo; the rest of the program looked really strong.

edit: and that program suits her REALLY well.

Franchesa Chiera

Nice speed but not a lot of expression at the start. Solid 3F to open. Lovely leg position in the layback spin. A bit wobbly into the flying sit. Unfortunate fall on the 3Lz, so no combo. But fine on the 2A. Footwork could be a bit more difficult. Nice hydroblade entry into the final spin.

It's difficult to bring a jazzy song with such a low tempo to life. There's just not a lot to interpret or grab a hold of in the music. She was a bit cheeky here and there, but fairly forgettable program.

Yeah, I was really surprised they didn’t call it.

Mirai robbed but what is new.

It's just outrageous that Bradie's PCS are that much higher.. USFSA you ..... ..... .....

Robbed? Her score beat Gracie's score from 2014 when Gracie skated clean and this wasn't nearly as good especially with the mistake on the axel. She got overscored as well as Bradie did.

Yes on transitions, the rest is still a bit juniorish.

I think Mirai 3T is clean, its in a quarter so its okay. Its not really have that hooked landing like clear UR jump...
