Happy for Mirai. Getting those butterflies out. I was nervous for her all day, LOL. She's worked so hard, I want it for her so badly. Now all she has to do is perform the fs like she does in practice.

Clean performance after clean performance will boost your PCS. Bradie would have more of a lead over Mirai if this was an international competition and the tech panel wasn't lenient.

It's a shame about all the tech problems from Tessa Hong because, despite her lack of speed, she has real musicality and elegance. Lovely arms.

Too bad we can't combine skaters and their best qualities in some lab.

Ooh, I LOVE the Caccini Ave Maria. Not sure who is singing this; In a different key then the Sumi Jo version that Belbin/Agosto Used back in ‘10. Just lovely, though.

I wish Tessa could stand up and rotate though, I enjoyed the in betweens a LOT.

Again, I'm going to keep pushing back against this fallacy that every technical panel is somehow lenient or overscoring.

This looks very similar to Rika Kihara layout. But she puts the 3T on the axel not the flip, and repeats the Lutz not 3T. She messed up only her loop and had a MASSIVE TES score. It’s very hard to beat.

I don't hate Bradie so spare me with your "everybody." And what about Mirai's tech score? Which one do you think is overlooked by the tech panel?

My uni flatmate was an Opera singer student... none stop of this at home for a few months... still bring me nightmares.. i am even dreaming the song in my sleep. Too much...

Anyway I think Ave Maria is taking the easy way out. It is like feeding sugar to a child (judges), they don't have to try as hard to like it, or care about the flavour, texture, if any...
