No, but their ancestors could have been neighbours in a Chinese village in mainland China.
LOL pretty funny. How about Lu Chen? Jimmy Ma and Emmy Ma?

Lol, what a gross sense of entitlement there from Ashley Wagner. You did two subpar programs and didn't rotate your jumps. Mirai, Bradie and Karen for the Olympics!
Honestly give Michelle the third spot and call it a day..
Peaceful answer to all our questions.NBC doesn’t choose the athletes who make the Olympic team, no, but they can most certainly place Figure skating in not so prime airtime, if they wish.
Ashley has always gotten higher PC scores from the international judges; I don't know why our judges always gave her lower scores.
I'm not trying to get them to change their opinion, but I've come across so many bad comments on bradie...
i apologize for bringing up past remarks, I should n't have done it, and I don't care if I get another infraction, lol but why can't you just learn to be cool? I don't know what I said to offend you, seriously.
Does the Olympic team = the World team? Or can they pull a Japan nationals and allocate different assignments to different skaters?
Not really.
If she thinks she has been treated unfairly she keeps quiet in public and she tries to get the ball going in private. This won't help her. There is an added problem of 2014 that many of us remember and that is a potential PR nightmare. The Federation will not put itself in a bind where that can be dredged up again just like that. Wrong move this.

Because Karen did?! She got 5 tech calls... on home ice... during Nationals. And arguably could have been called for her series too.
I'm cool with Mirai/Bradie/Karen at the Olympics, but Ashley was royally screwed on her components here.
You want to say she's throwing shade, fine. But you are the one who brought HER race into it. What would it matter if she were plaid? Shade is still shade no matter what color of the person it comes from. But by highlighting her color, you are playing a race card. And it's unnecessary.
I'm fine with the placement and I still I applaud Wagner for calling out judges for anomalous scoring. Actual athletes trash refs all the time. I mean, many competitive snowboarders and ski jumps has complained publicly about judging and those sports are judged *magnitudes* more fairly and consistently. I'm tired of this conspiracy to keep the judging unquestionable by commentators, skaters, coaches, choreographers all for ad revenue which is vanishing anyway precisely because the ISU and national federations have designed a trash scoring system and maintains a judge selection mechanism that actual empirical research has shown promotes bias and vote-trading.
Michelle Kwan at Ice Desk now.
Ashley is always treated badly at home. Even in Boston, they judged her fairly only because Gracie fell, but otherwise, her SP was also underscored.
In other countries, like Russia, they intentionally forgive URs and pull the components to maximum at home, so then at international competitions their skaters could get higher scores. Ashley, however, gets lower score at home than anywhere else, and because she gets URs, and edge calls at home, of course, then they mark it there internationally too.
I have no idea how Karen was higher than Ashley at this competition overall, and in either program.
All of the GP was in the afternoon. They get crap TV spots for everything aside from SA and nationals.
