2018 Olympic Figure Skating Pairs SP

Not sure what point you're getting at? That's exactly what I meant, it goes without saying T/M have great lines; in fact, that and ss are the only impressive things outside the elements. Rach itself is great but it's pointless if you're going to butcher the music cut and not do justice to the choreo to go with Rach.
T/M's choreography is suitable for a performance to the Village People, the repeated dinging of a triangle, or maybe "Chopsticks."

Four years, all that hard work, and Bruno blows it on the SBS. I knew if Aliona lost gold, it would because of him.

The potential gap between the couples is higher in the FS. Vanessa/Morgan don't seem calm in the SP, i don't think they can fight for the podium.
Aljona/Bruno can still regain, but now Sui/Han have a great chance for the gold.

My hopes for the two italian pairs are to place them both in the first ten positions. The sixth place for at least one of them may be the best.
True. PCS will probably throw it to S/M or D/R, but there is also a higher potential for error.

I've decided not to get mad at these Olympics, And if you can't beat them just join them

GO CANDYMAN !! CANDYMAN FTW :yahoo: :cheer: :hb:

Crazy things - in 2014 the last qualifying team got 51.64 (Della Monica and Guarise)! This year it's 63.04 (Hocke and Blommaert)!

UGH. I'm so distraught about Savchenko/Massot. I was rooting for them to win the gold medal- Aliona's waited about as long as that old woman from Titanic- but I don't think they can make up 5.8 points.

The Sui/Han were exquisite and deserve to be in first place. If they skate that well tomorrow, they'll undoubtedly be Olympic champions.

Duhamel/Radford were fine. Clean-ish. Small mistakes. I prefer the other two teams to them.

Tarasova/ Morozov have beautiful elements but were way overscored, IMO. Their program is the equivalent of a pumpkin spice latte. Bland, basic, leaves a mediocre taste in your mouth. There's very little choreography, musicality, originality, etc. to speak of.

I think James/ Cipres were modern and interesting and fabulous and should be higher.

Here's hoping the podium includes Sui/Han, Savchenko/Massot, and either the Canadians or the French.
