Not true. Brian Orser did not take on the drama. It was an interview with several coaches about the minimum age for skating in the senior setting: http://web.icenetwork.com/news/2018/04/30/274122364/should-the-minimum-age-for-seniors-be-raised
So what's the difference with Medvedeva's "Eteri's the best", "She's like my second mother", "I love Russia", etc? It's just normal for ambitious people (with hidden grievances).
Rumors about Med leaving Eteri has been around for more than a month. Eteri group already deleted Med’s links. No way they haven’t known.
I guess after this drama Zhenya can be out of Top5 at Rus Nationals. Rus Fed will choose someone else than (despite how she'll skate or Zheny can make mistakes )
SO I guess that will be a total disaster for Zhenya...
I hope BOrser is ready to deal with the RusFed and Eteri because man, they sound like a snake pit. I can't think of any other Fed that's this dramatic.

I don't 100% believe Eteri's words.
But IF Evgenia really said that about Alina, whether she said it privately or not, I don't think you can make any valid excuses for it.
Maybe I don't get it because I'm the type of person who internalizes failure.
I think it'd be acceptable to an extent if she blamed her coach for losing the OGM but it's unfair and childish to take it on Alina, especially since she's 3 years younger. The girl just worked hard and did her best in the same training environment and circumstances, and she deserved that OGM.
I'm indifferent about the two women involved, but I just wish none of this mess will affect Brian, his students or the other Eteri girls negatively.
I had a peek at the archive for the time Yuzu went across to him, and it wasn't on the same level but wasn't all that calmly received either...
On the other hand I am not sure Russian fed will look at Eteri with a warmer eyes now that there has been a tendency for students who turn adults deciding on leaving Eteri. That group is like a kindergarten right now with the oldest just turned 16.I guess after this drama Zhenya can be out of Top5 at Rus Nationals. I notice you refer to Evgenia as a "woman" and the other students as "girls"I don't 100% believe Eteri's words.

Literally me
She mentioned once that she doesn't really like working with male skaters but would like to try with Hanyu. I will try to find it

This is quite hilarious, she couldn't handle Yuzu for a week![]()
