Not a bad skate by Elizabet, but I didn't like the program for her. It's too mature and the music is too big. She looks like a little kid (which is not her fault, of course) going through the motions of choreography that she doesn't feel/understand. She doesn't have the performance ability or power to live up to such music. Her jumps still seem rather muscled/'armsy' with long set-ups. Her dress is nice, but I thought that she looked more mature in the SP (maybe the hairstyle?).

It's early season after the Olympics. It is always a rough one. I'm sure the jrs next week will be smashing.

Did Danill choreograph this? Because there wasn't a whole heap of music cuts and the choreo fit really well. I'm surprised!

Eteri usually only goes to the big ones: JGPF/GPF, RusNats, Euros, Worlds, Olympics
but we might see her in Ostrava since her daughter will be there

Initially they were both meant to be here, but Eteri remained with Alina in Moscow after her airport problems

Actually I do know she'll be at Nebelhorn next week with Alina, TheBallerina tells me she was going to come to this one, but I guess someone had to drive Alina home from the airport! (What a schmoozle!)
