Speaking of it, are there currently some interesting juniors in Japan, US or elsewhere who can be worthy adversaries to the russian junior girls at JGP series or junior worlds?
In the U.S. there is Isabeau Levito, Mia Kalin, and Lindsay Thorngren
OK, he finds who searches. Isabeau Levito, US junior champion, SP from Skate Milwaukee 2021:

This young lady surely has some potential to be at least a worthy opponent to the junior russian ladies.
Isabeau has been extremely consistent on her triples for years now. Her carriage is beautiful and she holds long edges with beautiful extension. She’s light across the ice and has innate musicality and performance ability. Her speed is sometimes less than proficient, and her jump technique is overall wonky. The speed going into the jumps and the takeoff technique is the main issue. She has been attempting 4T in summer competitions, and she hasn’t stood up on a rotated one, yet, but I can see it happening soon, wonky technique and all. Everything else is lovely, including the packaging. Isabeau was eligible to be junior internationally last season, but of course the junior season was essentially cancelled. Isabeau improved a lot within that time. She’ll be much more competitive internationally this upcoming season than she would’ve been last season.
Mia Kalin has been attempting multiple 4Ts in summer competitions this year, and she’s had success in landing them in multiple competitions. Her skating needs a lot of polish overall, but I’ve seen clips of her landing 4S and training 3A, so the potential is certainly there. This will be Mia’s first season age eligible as a junior. She’s a bit less experienced, but she’s also younger with a lot of time to improve!
Lindsay Thorngren is another name to watch for. She’s relatively consistent on her triples. She stood up on a downgraded 3A today, and while that technically means nothing, it was a solid and promising attempt. She’s a technically proficient skater in all aspects, just lacks some “wow” factor. She was 6th at Senior Nationals this year (only behind Bradie, Amber, Karen, Alysa, Mariah).
