With a huge lead from SP, one 3A and two quads in FP, I still think she has a good chance..Nop.
PCS will not prevail over TES.
People like jumps. Choreo is good for show.
P.S. And to remember the factor of maturity.

That's true of anyone who has a massive base value edge. She was jaw-droppingly fantastic at test skates, but we have to see if she can keep costly errors out of her programs in big events like 2021 Worlds. I think Kamila's typical form is better than the others, but Sasha obviously has a higher ceiling to her score. From my PoV she's to decide who's the winner.
While the Russian women have the highest scoring potential, none of them are anywhere close to 100% reliable on the quads. I hope they get stronger throughout the season and find layouts they're comfortable doing, but I wouldn't be shocked if the entire team underperforms at the Olympics trying to outdo each other in an attempt to win the OGM. I worry most about Sasha since she doesn't plan many triples in her LP that would allow her to make up points if her quads are off.Russian girls at the Olympics can defeat themselves. The pressure will be immense.
I agree with you especially about the triples. Nailing them should be so much area easier than quads. While the Russian women have the highest scoring potential, none of them are anywhere close to 100% reliable on the quads. Alena was very steady in 2019-20, and if she can regain that level I also think it would be impossible to knock her off the podium. Kamila I'm sort of torn on because she can score very high with just the 3A and 4T, but does she have to go for the 4S in order to fend off Sasha in case Trusova is able to pull off a 5 quad LP? The few times Kamila has tried the 4S, she's missed it and her whole program has unraveled. I don't evny Eteri's position, having to optimize everyone's layouts to beat her other skaters while also making sure the entire team is steady enough to rise to the top of the international field. It's kind of scary that the girls might be trying to outdo each other and then I guess they all bomb together. I think that's a long shot especially if aliona is there.
It would be better if she won over Trusova. I didn't enjoy Trusova's free at all. She didn't deserve her PCS there. ....However. Park was overscored as hell. She skated accurately to easy (for skating) music without any emotion whatsoever as typical for Korean junior skating. I know what I am talking about because I've just watched Liza Kulikova same triples-only skates in last JGP - who got 196 for two clean programs. And then Park's skates. See for yourself:Yeonjeong Park nearly defeated Trusova at the International event. In actual competition, you never know.
I'm not aware that that's being discussed as a possibility? China still seems to be planning to hold the Olympics on time. However, if there’s any drag to this Olympics I am not sure they can hold out another year (except maybe Kamilla).
This one was tough for me to comprehend. Top Russian ladies beat everyone by jumping quads and triple axels not by pcs.Unless all three Russian women have absolute disaster skates, with the way PCS judging has been going, there is no way someone else is going to win, unfortunately.
They get top PCS even when their quads and triple axel's fail. This one was tough for me to comprehend. Top Russian ladies beat everyone by jumping quads and triple axels not by pcs.
PCS help them to stay ahead when they makes mistakes. This one was tough for me to comprehend. Top Russian ladies beat everyone by jumping quads and triple axels not by pcs.
