Just putting a note to mention the wonderful performances by the Junior athletes. I’m really enjoying watching new stars in the Junior Circuit. I must say, Gleb was really good. Solid 4T and 4S. I notice the Mishin’s men athletes are so consistent once they learn 3A, 4T and 4S. Also, enjoyed Egor. This combined with my pleasant surprises of Kirill and Ilya. I hope all four of these boys make it to the finals.

Oh, yes! For sure even seeing how easily there are 5 different junior men in one competition was really fun. I have been hoping Rukhin could come back for a while too, as sad as I am about the last season’s favs. The good thing though, they do come/climb back.
I saw Lutfullin in 2019 JGP and he had so much growth since then! His short in particular was my fav and made my personal list (I am sure it is highly coveted, lol!)

Yes, that's another reason why I like watching junior men. Struggling in their teens is normal but they have a decent chance of redemption later.
Nice diversity of skating schools among Russian men at the moment (in Krasnoyarsk alone we had skaters from Chebotareva, Buianova, Volchkova, Mishin and Volkov). Also the balance between SPB and Moscow is fairly even in men's, maybe even tilting towards the former.

Could Dikidzhi be the substitute and that's why he suddenly WD after having insanely great short in Saint Petersburg championships and its just not been announced yet? The Sofia S and Sofia M has just been announced as well. Either that or they get 1 extra spot in the remaining jgp?

Interesting theory... I don't think Vlad would get to Ljubljana in time though. Just hoping both he and Ugozhaev are alright
The Sofia swapping might be strategic (most things to do with Russian ladies seem to be), but I feel like strategy is futile when it comes to the current cohort of Russian junior gentlemen

Looks like for whatever reason Ugozhaev decided to go (was sent?) to stage 1 of Cup of Russia instead of the JGP. Russian men - always so unpredictable.
