It also does look like Arseny Fedotov is also on his way out which is shocking because he has just got a 3A and got great results. He just stopped following TT and started following Sokolovskaya Team and AoP.

Odd, does that mean he hasn't decided which to join yet?

If he really has decided to move, I hope it's Sokolovskaya. She seems to have less juniors at the moment and Kondratiuk/Samarin are good role models. Also she seems like a really fun character :D

I do like AoP but I think they were stretched a bit thin last season. Now they're doing great with a smaller focus (Zhilina, Sarnovsky, Muravieva, Zinina and Titova). I think as junior guys Mark and Kirill might benefit from some friendly rivalry. Not sure about one more though...

Mark Lukin switched from Tutberidze to Angels of Plushenko.

Best of luck to Mark in his new team! He’s a very talented kid, great jumping technique, very good SS, and he is a natural performer as well! He stands out to me among novices-juniors.

I’m sure he has a big future ahead of him, so I hope Plushenko helps him to achieve his dreams.
He learned his quads quite early (I think 11 and 13), but his performances were getting less and less consistent in the last half of the season. He needs a 3A, so fingers crossed for this to work out for him, along with confidence and consistency.

With the new ruleset, gosh, I hope Dikidzhi substitution was due to recovery (poor guy), not to secure second stage for Kovalev, because if he is fully recovered, that would have been legit shot. Oh, well. Let’s hope Kovalev used those precious days well.

The selection for the Olympic team in Russian men will be heartbreak all around. 😭 (Admittedly, my heart already settled on one skater I absolutely want to see there). Hopefully the ones that don't make it will get a chance to shine at Worlds or at least the Channel One Cup.

For Zhenya, Misha, and Dima it's good to get the splat fests over and done with at Finlandia, as long as they don't make an appearance for the rest of the season.

I am still clinging to hope for my favourite guys there… so volatile!

Watching Russian men and boys in GPs will not be good for my heart. All of Artur, Pert, Andrei, Misha, Dima and Zhenya have had a rough start for the season. We have yet to see Makar skate in an actual competition setting and we haven't even seen Daniil on ice at all since last junior nationals. Only ones looking decent in competition rn are Sasha and Mark.
