Lost levels for Hubbell. They may still have come in 3rd if she got her levels, as they also scored 0.28 behind S/K in PCS.

I expect to see Madi and Evan finish third in the FD but stay in fourth UNLESS S/K put down a lift or have a big error, in which I see them dropping to fourth if the USA teams skate their best. I have no idea what will happen with the rest tho
she got lower goe for PC than SK, two 3, for russians only 4 and 5. I apologize for her

You obviously has 0 knowledge about Poland-Russia relations. Keep your ignorant comments to yourself. The judge might be biased, but it has nothing to do with your "cold war".

Three points between HD and CB is huge. I can't image how that margin could be overcome. At this point I just want the Alien & Astronaut to have a beautiful skate in the free dance cause I don't see much room to move up barring major mistakes and I don't wish those on anyone, they all work too hard.

I'm not saying this particular judge doesn't. But the atrocious stereotype that Polish are always pro Russian is grating on my nerves. I never said that judging was correct in this case.

My apologies, I should not have expressed it that way. It was a bad choice of words probably the result of cataloging too many 90's era videos lately and too little sleep. Usually the Polish judge sees skating similarly to the Russian judges and that all I really meant. My compliments to your Polish couple, they have wonderful skills and creative ideas.

Well Mom decided to wake up just as P/C were starting, so I at least got a chance to see their RD for the first time. THEY had real hip hop choreography (those arms alone deserve their own special gold medal) and goodness, they deserved 1st by a country mile.
Hopefully I'll be able to see the last flight SOMEWHERE on the web before it disappears for years. If anyone can post a link to any videos, I sure would appreciate it.
Am I surprised y the placements? Not in the least. I would have loved to see Piper and Paul in the final group, and I think Hawayek and Baker need to move away from Montreal at the earliest possible moment (I'm thinking Marina would do wonders with them), but all in all, no big surprises.

I see S/B possibly moving up to fourth. They are only .5 point behind Chock/Bates.
I think the top three are pretty much set though. Unless H/D hold that lift just a bit too long—or otherwise mess up.
99% of the time they are pro russian
